ver 0.3

A major revamp - breaking change, not compatible with previous versions. The next release will be a well tested stable version with no additional features and ready for every day use, for now just play with the application, not for daily use.

  2. Higher grade encryption (new database creation, logging in, updating master password would be slightly slower), unless someone knows master password, almost impossible to decrypt passwords.

This version has breaking changes, if you have used previous version, which is pre-release, this version overwrites. With this version, a stable and mature product for every day use is ready. This product with these set of features will always remain free. There will be some bug fixes, performance enhancements and documentation before moving into production.

ver 0.3.1

Stable version, some bug fixes, behind the scenes performance enhancements.

  1. 3 bug fixes that directly affects users.
  2. Some behind the scenes web performance enhancements and web security updates (Few more are in the work).
  3. Twice the memory for web server (getting stressed sometimes). For now, in the free mode, no load balancers or multiple servers to keep the costs low. If the server goes down, I have to manually boot from images.

  5. It's possible that some spy (prying eyes - invisible drone cameras) hackers could claim to have brute forced. But in reality, the password is saved at at least 94 power 100. As of today, 94 power 12 is considered impossible to brute force. If someone comes to you and says they hacked your simplepass master-password, you are dealing with prying eyes hackers.
  6. Without brute forcing the master password of at least 94 power 100, your individual entry passwords cannot be breached.
